Job Summary

Own and operate the enterprise insider risk program, including global detection and response workflows. Set program strategy, governance, escalation paths, and roadmap for insider threat maturity, partnering with Cyber Security, Legal, HR, Privacy, and Physical Security. Lead and develop a team of insider threat analysts, oversee investigations and incident reports, and drive executive-ready reporting, KPIs, tooling, vendor management, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain the insider risk program roadmap, including governance models, policies, workflows, and escalation paths.
•Partner with HR, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Physical Security, and SOC leadership; communicate findings and recommended controls to executives.
•Lead and develop an insider threat team, managing workload, case assignments, performance, training, and playbooks.
•Oversee insider threat detection monitoring across insider risk, DLP/CASB, and telemetry tools; tune alert logic and risk scoring to reduce false positives.
•Lead investigations into insider threat events, coordinating cross-functional response and delivering incident reports, root-cause summaries, and mitigation recommendations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 176,000 - 242,000

Key Requirements

•10–15+ years in cybersecurity, threat detection, digital forensics, or incident response.
•5–7+ years in a leadership or management role.
•Deep knowledge of insider threat frameworks (e.g., NIST, MITRE, CERT Insider Threat Center).
•Experience with SIEM/SOAR and insider risk tooling (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Google SecOps, Exabeam, Sentinel, Splunk) and data governance/DLP/CASB/endpoint & network telemetry.
•Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC GSIP, GIAC GCTI, CIPP, or related privacy certifications; experience implementing insider risk programs in large global enterprises.
