Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor the installation of wiring, conduits, panels, lighting, and power systems to confirm proper execution
  • •Oversee testing, commissioning, and energization of electrical systems
  • •Conduct detailed inspections of electrical installations, materials, and equipment for adherence to contract specifications, codes, and safety standards
  • •Coordinate with other inspectors and disciplines to resolve electrical system integration issues
  • •Review contractor shop drawings and submittals to confirm alignment with project specifications

Key Requirements

  • •HS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • •Experience with local codes
  • •Experience with construction methods and techniques
  • •BA/BS in Construction, Electrical engineering or equivalent certification. Waived for eight (8) years of similar inspection role
  • •OSHA 10-hour training certification
  • •Certified Construction Quality Manager for Contractors (CQM-C) preferred
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
  • •Experience working with federal Project Management Systems
