Key Responsibilities

  • •Review customer/project specifications on special processes, identifying relevant requirements, alternatives, deviations, clarifications, and exceptions to ensure compliance with specifications and applicable code requirements.
  • •Consolidate requirements once a PO is received, reconciling gaps between quoted exceptions, technical qualification processes, the customer’s PO, and agreements reached in customer kickoff meetings.
  • •After order confirmation, work with the quotation team to develop sales order long text so customer/project requirements are clearly communicated to factory sales orders.
  • •Support calls, correspondence, and technical meetings with customers, factories, and vendors to provide technical opinions and align all parties.
  • •Write addendums and create special procedures/specifications for manufacturing procedures and project needs (e.g., material testing/heat treatment/welding/painting/NDE), and initiate technical clarifications for documentation approval.

Key Requirements

  • •5 to 10 years of hands-on experience with special processes such as coating, welding, NDE, casting, and heat treatment in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • •Strong knowledge of ASME BPVC (Sections II, V, VIII, IX) and NORSOK M501.
  • •Preferably familiar with IOGP S-563, S-705, S-715.
  • •Ability to learn and comprehend technical details and gain technical literacy in the listed special processes.
  • •Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, independent judgement, and professional communication skills (reading, writing, verbal) across cultures and languages.
