Maintain injection molds in production-ready, safe condition by executing preventative maintenance, operating tool room equipment, and troubleshooting mold issues. Repair injection molds as needed, including hot runner system repairs, and perform root-cause analysis to determine immediate actions or escalation. Support process improvement through cross-functional teams and participate in daily production meetings, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, ISO, SQF, and other regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate tool room equipment and maintain injection molds in production-ready, safe condition.
•Troubleshoot and repair injection molds, including hot runner systems, as needed.
•Administer tooling preventative maintenance program and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
•Perform root cause analysis and determine immediate actions or notify appropriate personnel.
•Maintain a 5S environment, participate in daily production meetings, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, customer, ISO, and SQF requirements.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/GED and ability to hold a journeyman’s card (or relevant education and experience combination).
•Ability to operate a vertical mill, lathe, and surface grinder.
•Ability to use micrometers and other measuring equipment.
•Ability to assemble/disassemble injection molds and repair hot runner systems.
•Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-multi-task environment.
