Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate tool room equipment and maintain injection molds in production-ready, safe condition.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair injection molds, including hot runner systems, as needed.
  • •Administer tooling preventative maintenance program and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
  • •Perform root cause analysis and determine immediate actions or notify appropriate personnel.
  • •Maintain a 5S environment, participate in daily production meetings, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, customer, ISO, and SQF requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and ability to hold a journeyman’s card (or relevant education and experience combination).
  • •Ability to operate a vertical mill, lathe, and surface grinder.
  • •Ability to use micrometers and other measuring equipment.
  • •Ability to assemble/disassemble injection molds and repair hot runner systems.
  • •Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-multi-task environment.
