Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement storage, backup, and SAN infrastructure for security, availability, and automation based on business requirements.
  • •Perform complex provisioning, API-first automation, maintenance, data replication, disaster recovery, data migration, and documentation for open systems storage/backup environments.
  • •Provide Level 3 escalation support for complex storage and backup devices and solutions across on-prem and public/hybrid cloud.
  • •Operate and support highly secure, highly available datacenter and cloud environments, collaborating with other infrastructure domain experts.
  • •Assist in security remediation for known vulnerabilities in Visa’s open systems storage ecosystem.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of experience in SAN/Storage/Backup administration.
  • •Experience supporting SAN, NAS, object/S3 storage, and backup solutions in hybrid cloud environments.
  • •Hands-on experience with all-flash SAN arrays (e.g., Hitachi VSP or Dell PowerMax).
  • •Hands-on experience with FC or IP networking (e.g., Brocade or Cisco).
  • •Scripting and automation proficiency across Windows and Linux environments.
