Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses in a virtual clinic.
  • •Implement FBT, enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), cognitive behavioral therapy for ARFID, and other evidence-based treatments across the lifespan.
  • •Maintain a caseload of 30–40, with an expectation of 20–26 hours of direct care and the remainder for administrative tasks.
  • •Assess and diagnose mental health conditions and monitor ongoing patient and family needs.
  • •Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team and communicate through between-session messaging using Equip’s EMR in line with policies and procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in the state of Iowa.
  • •Ability to support a caseload of patients of all ages with co-occurring conditions, varying acuity, and diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • •Passion for evidence-based care and mental health/eating disorder treatment.
  • •Ability to provide care 2 evenings per week (available until 8pm in the primary patient time zone).
