Key Responsibilities

  • •Support HVAC design efforts as a mechanical designer, including work related to 3D modeling.
  • •Apply technical knowledge of engineering systems, engineering and construction methods, materials, and computer-based engineering tools.
  • •Plan, self-perform tasks, and multitask across multiple projects.
  • •Coordinate verification and validation of documents with technical and operations personnel prior to release for approval and implementation.
  • •Develop and maintain historical information and prepare, interpret, maintain, and incorporate requirements of technical drawings and operating documents.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate degree in a related discipline (HVAC or Fire Protection) with 2+ years of progressive and relevant experience in HVAC and/or Fire Sprinkler System Design, plus 10–15 years total experience.
  • •5+ years of progressive, relevant experience in HVAC Design and 3D Modeling.
  • •Ability to obtain/maintain a DOE Q clearance.
  • •Successful completion of a post-offer, pre-employment drug test.
  • •Ability to prepare, interpret, maintain, and incorporate requirements of technical drawings and operating documents.
