Job Summary

Provide L3 managed cloud services by proactively monitoring client infrastructure, resolving incidents and problems, and ensuring zero missed SLA conditions. Handle complex ticket investigations, support escalations with vendors, and deliver onsite technical and field engineering assistance. Improve service quality through reviews, continuous feedback, automation opportunities, and operational best practices, while supporting disaster recovery implementations and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure assigned client infrastructure is configured, installed, tested, and operational.
•Monitor systems, respond to alerts, and identify problems and errors while logging incidents with required detail.
•Investigate and resolve high-complexity incidents and problems, escalating to third-party vendors when needed.
•Provide onsite technical support to clients and deliver field engineering services; assist with assigning and escalating support calls.
•Conduct monthly incident/service request reviews, recommend improvements, identify automation opportunities, and support disaster recovery implementations and tests.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology/Computing, or demonstrated equivalent work experience.
•Seasoned experience in engineering within a medium to large ICT organization, including managed services.
•Excellent working knowledge of ITIL processes.
•Experience managing platforms including Windows Server administration, Linux server administration, virtualization administration, and server hardware/storage administration.
•Relevant certifications for the services provided (e.g., VMware, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Veeam, Rubrik, and cloud provider certifications).
