Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the subject-matter expert for PI discovery practice across U.S. jurisdictions, including objections strategy, privilege issues, and escalations.
  • •Define and maintain legal quality standards, templates, and playbooks; personally review or spot-check complex/high-risk cases.
  • •Design and own end-to-end delivery workflows (intake, drafting, QA/review, client sign-off) to meet guaranteed turnaround cycles.
  • •Build and run the delivery operation, including staffing models, hiring/coaching/developing the team, and setting direction and the bar.
  • •Own delivery metrics and client-facing SLAs (turnaround time, quality/error rate, client satisfaction, throughput per FTE) and implement process improvements as volume scales.

Key Requirements

  • •J.D. and active bar license in good standing in at least one U.S. state.
  • •7+ years of personal injury litigation experience with substantial, hands-on discovery work (drafting/defending written discovery, objections, and discovery disputes/motion practice).
  • •Experience managing people and/or leading a team or function in a legal or legal-services setting.
  • •Comfort operating with metrics and SLAs, thinking in turnaround time, quality rate, and throughput.
  • •Working fluency with legal tech/AI-assisted drafting tools and clear judgment on where AI needs human review layered on top.
