Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply test procedures and develop, document, and maintain cost-effective testing processes using structured methods (e.g., Design of Experiments, cause-and-effect, fishbone, 8D).
  • •Create and implement manufacturing support materials such as routers, process sketches, standard work, fixtures, and gauges to support aerospace hardware manufacture, assembly, inspection, and testing.
  • •Manage multiple projects across complex work teams and lead execution/implementation of best practices (process troubleshooting, continuous improvement, new product introduction, and automation).
  • •Interact with Design Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, ELSS, and other disciplines to support design for manufacturability and product transfer from inception through shipment.
  • •Optimize assembly and test utilization through improved tooling/programming and first-pass yield; support floor issues, acceptance criteria/work instructions, time standards, and quality root-cause/corrective actions.
