Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with the game production team to define, conceptualise, and iterate new game visions via reviews, meetings, and brainstorming.
  • •Lead new games from start to finish, creating blueprints for theme, narrative, animations, sequencing, structuring, and production.
  • •Present concepts clearly to the team and stakeholders, and execute established game visions with partner teams (art, production/development, sound).
  • •Create well-structured game specifications and supervise implementation to deliver according to the original vision.
  • •Provide quality control, adjust designs based on feedback/constraints, and ensure games play as compellingly as intended through playtesting.
  • •Define and evolve broader game direction and incorporate branding consistency while supporting competitive positioning and production pipeline improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Have experience in game direction designing real-money gaming slots.
  • •Have led game projects that shipped outstanding products for one or more major AAA land-based or digital slot manufacturers.
  • •Develop compelling player-focused concepts by polishing static artwork, animations/micro-animations, and music/SFX into an immersive experience.
  • •Direct hands-on and produce clear specifications and guidelines that teams can execute to match the game vision.
  • •Strong understanding of game design mechanics and mathematics, including hierarchical game structures and communicating value clearly to players.
