Key Responsibilities

  • •Agree drawing strategy, drawing type and size, and drawing numbering with the project lead.
  • •Set priorities and deadlines for drawing production with the Project Lead.
  • •Develop general arrangement drawings from engineers’ sketches and other team drawings, producing coordinated details.
  • •Ensure the clarity, completeness and accuracy of drawings and presentation materials produced.
  • •Follow prescribed drafting standards and procedures, including QA, document control, archiving, and CDM guidelines.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate of a technical course or at least three (3) years in a BS Engineering or BS Architecture course.
  • •3–7 years of relevant civil drafting experience.
  • •Experience supporting several sized projects as CAD support within a wider CAD team.
  • •Proficiency with drafting software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and ProjectWise.
  • •Proficiency in Civil 3D is an advantage (preferably experience on Australian projects).
