Job Summary

Support vehicle and inventory operations for an auto auction, working with the Lot Manager and operations teams before, during, and after sale day. You’ll help organize vehicles on the lot, confirm vehicle details (mileage, make/year, VIN), scan and record movement using electronic devices, coordinate sale-lane needs, and assist with missing-unit tracking and basic pre-sale updates.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with outside functions to support lot movements and auction operations before, during, and after sale day.
•Ensure vehicles are in the correct designated areas, including numbering/tagging and locating/moving vehicles to the lot.
•Confirm vehicle details (mileage, make year, VIN) and assist with efficient inventory flow from check-in through checkout.
•Scan inventory and record vehicle movement on property using electronic devices and a PC to update vehicle data.
•Assist with missing-unit tracking, vehicle photos, and pre-sale announcements/reports; may make basic diagnostic determinations and help coordinate a sale lane.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 16 - 17 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED preferred.
•Automotive/auction experience preferred.
•Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license that meets the requirements.
