Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the solution, development, validation, and optimization of software supporting AMD datacenter products and ecosystem initiatives.
  • •Conduct technical investigations across hardware, firmware, operating systems, virtualization, and cloud environments.
  • •Provide technical leadership and mentorship via design reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing.
  • •Partner across architecture, silicon, firmware, BIOS, operating system, and cloud teams to identify and resolve system-level issues.
  • •Develop and execute performance characterization, benchmarking, workload analysis, and optimization strategies; create automation frameworks and drive root-cause analysis for customer issues.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 147,000 - 252,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced experience in systems software, platform engineering, operating systems, virtualization, and/or performance engineering.
  • •Strong debugging experience for complex software and systems issues, including proficiency with WinDBG and kernel debuggers.
  • •Experience with Windows Server and virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V, VMware, and KVM.
  • •Strong software development skills using Python and/or C and C++.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline (Master’s preferred).
