Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families at military installations.
  • •Develop and deliver Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle (arrival, deployment, etc.).
  • •Assist service members in establishing spending plans for extended absences and life events.
  • •Create and disseminate informational financial materials for service members and families.
  • •Coordinate, publicize, and conduct virtual counseling sessions or in-person sessions as required; engage with DoD protocols and POCs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required; may consider an associate degree plus 4 years' experience or a high school diploma plus 6 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's.
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English; bilingual in English and Spanish if required by contract.
  • •Must have AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification (AFC, CFP, or ChFC).
  • •Must be able to obtain a favorable adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass OCI disclosures.
