Job Summary

Own core backend services for margin and lending within the Book of Record ledger of truth. Build and operate systems that track balances, calculate buying power and collateral, and ensure real-time correctness with low latency and high availability. Work end-to-end from technical design through reliable production operation, evolve an event-driven Kafka/JVM architecture, and mentor senior engineers while partnering with Product and Design to deliver simple experiences for clients.

•Own meaningful scope end-to-end, from technical design through reliable production operation.

•Help evolve architecture as Leverage grows, including an event-driven platform built on Kafka and a JVM services stack.
•Raise quality through thoughtful design and code review, and mentor engineers via pairing and in-the-moment feedback.

•Strong software quality habits, including writing well-tested, maintainable, observable code, plus clear communication.
