Key Responsibilities

  • •Performs basic work using prescribed procedures.
  • •Responds to customer service requests, including connections and disconnections, as operator qualified.
  • •Informs customers of needed repairs and answers basic questions to ensure customer understanding and satisfaction.
  • •Installs, programs, and operates Wireless Meter Reading (WMR) equipment as necessary, and may read meters for billing.
  • •Assists with activities to assure responsiveness to natural gas and other emergencies while maintaining accurate records and reports.

  • •Valid driver’s license in accordance with Company standards.

  • •Ability to communicate with internal/external customers to provide basic factual explanations and information.
