Job Summary

Design and implement scalable, secure data architecture in Microsoft Azure, covering data warehousing, data lake, and data mesh for both batch and real-time processing. Own end-to-end architecture using Azure Data Services such as Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure SQL, and Databricks. Define governance and security standards, integrate diverse data types, and drive AI/ML and Generative AI adoption using Azure services. Lead tuning, monitoring, and platform operational support.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement end-to-end data architecture using Azure Data Services for scalable, secure data solutions.
•Architect and optimize data warehousing, data mesh, and data lake solutions for batch and real-time processing.
•Define and enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards aligned with enterprise policies.
•Integrate data across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured sources and translate requirements into technical solutions.
•Drive adoption of AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities and provide performance tuning, monitoring, and operational support for the data platform.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture roles.
•Proven experience with Azure Data Services including Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure SQL DB, SQL Managed Instance, Cosmos DB, and Azure Databricks or PySpark.
•Strong data warehousing knowledge (e.g., star schema, dimensional modeling, partitioning, indexing, slowly changing dimensions).
•Hands-on data lake architecture including schema evolution and Delta Lake.
•Experience with AI/ML pipelines and Generative AI integration; proficiency in SQL, Python, Scala, and PySpark for data transformation.
