•Own and Scale Core Platform Components: Design, architecture, and implement 1–2 key data platform frameworks within our stack.
•Collaborate and Align: Partner with infra, data science, and product engineering to ensure platform capabilities align with governance and product requirements.
•Optimize Performance at Scale: Dive into engine internals, query planning, state management, memory optimization, and serialization for high throughput under heavy load.
•Drive Infrastructure Robustness: Lead design, testing, and operational lifecycle of next-gen infrastructure features on Kubernetes across cloud environments.
•Agentic Interface: Embed AI/ML capabilities within data platforms, leveraging LLMs for data discovery and self-serve platform interaction.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 243,290 - 295,250 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience building, designing, testing and maintaining production-grade, large-scale distributed systems.
•Deep technical experience with at least 1–2 foundational data infrastructure technologies (Kafka, Flink, Spark, Trino, Druid, Airflow, Data Catalog/Metadata systems).
•Strong proficiency in Java, Go, or Scala with a track record of writing clean, high-performance backend code.
•Cloud fluency: operating data infrastructure at scale on Kubernetes in AWS or GCP.
•Demonstrated technical leadership with ability to influence direction across teams and mentor engineers.
