Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and provide direct people management and technical expertise for a Salesforce engineering team of two to three developers and a tester.
  • •Co-own the product with the Product Manager, shaping prioritisation decisions by making technical choices and trade-offs visible.
  • •Set shared engineering standards as part of the engineering community of practice and help evolve the craft.
  • •Spend about half the time hands-on coding in production and ensure quality through code reviews.
  • •Own production outcomes for the application, including incident response, annual technical releases, and management of technical debt.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 7 years’ hands-on Salesforce engineering experience with systems you’ve built in live operation.
  • •3+ years’ experience leading an engineering team, including code-quality feedback and mentoring under delivery pressure.
  • •Expert Salesforce development experience including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow-based automation with governor limits/platform constraints.
  • •Own technical design and production behavior including incident response, three Salesforce releases each year, and ongoing technical debt management.
  • •Experience with the Salesforce integration stack (REST APIs, Platform Events, named/external credentials) and relevant security considerations.
