Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams on NPD, VAVE, and RTS projects.
  • •Lead VAVE and quality improvement projects from idea generation through execution.
  • •Lead and coordinate mechanical design activities within projects.
  • •Prepare product layouts, sketches, and detailed drawings; maintain unit layout and detailed design deliverables including 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs.
  • •Conduct product cost analysis, support cost reduction initiatives, and assist with prototype builds and verification unit assembly.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • •Minimum 5 years of mechanical design experience; HVAC product experience preferred.
  • •Proficient in 3D design software; Creo preferred.
  • •Good knowledge of sheet metal and tubing design.
  • •Knowledge of DFMA and Design to Cost principles; tolerance design knowledge and FEA experience preferred.
