Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Boat Captain with safe navigation and operation of all dive center vessels.
  • •Prepare vessels daily to ensure readiness, safety compliance, and presentation standards.
  • •Assist with mooring, anchoring, docking, and vessel handling as directed.
  • •Support dive center operations, including cylinder handling and equipment loading/unloading.
  • •Assist with guest embarkation/disembarkation, support dive protocols, maintain logs/checklists, and monitor onboard safety conditions while escalating risks.

Key Requirements

  • •Relevant marine or boating experience, preferably in a dive or tourism environment.
  • •Basic knowledge of vessel operations, navigation, and marine safety procedures.
  • •Experience supporting boat operations or working as a deckhand is preferred.
  • •Basic mechanical knowledge of boats and outboard engines is desirable.
  • •Familiarity with diving operations and handling divers is an advantage.
