Job Summary

Dispatch from your home to service commercial and industrial sites around the Buffalo, NY area, performing preventative maintenance, inspections, site surveys, and both scheduled and unscheduled service requests. Start up and commission Trane controls and HVAC equipment, troubleshoot and repair systems such as split units, package units, and chillers, and maintain building control systems to optimize performance for owners.

Key Responsibilities

•Dispatch to locations around the Buffalo, NY area to perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, site surveys, and service requests.
•Start-up and commission Trane controls and HVAC equipment.
•Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC equipment such as split systems, package units, and chillers and related components (e.g., pumps, cooling towers).
•Troubleshoot and repair building control systems, optimizing controls and equipment usage for owners.
•Perform replacements and modifications to HVAC equipment or systems as needed or requested.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 23.8 - 43.85 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
•3+ years of experience servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfort using handheld devices like a smartphone and iPad.
•Valid driver’s license with no major or frequent traffic violations.
•Ability to work on-call rotation and/or overtime, including occasional overnight stays; EPA certification is preferred.
