Key Responsibilities

  • •Author, revise, and maintain QMS-controlled documents (quality manual, SOPs, work instructions, process flowcharts, and policy statements) aligned to AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements.
  • •Partner with Quality Engineers, Process Owners, and subject matter experts to gather and validate technical content and produce clear, user-friendly documentation.
  • •Own end-to-end document lifecycle management, including drafting, review routing, revision control, approvals, and archival per QMS document control procedures.
  • •Develop and enforce documentation standards, templates, and style guides to ensure consistency across the QMS document hierarchy.
  • •Support internal and external audits by ensuring documentation is current, traceable, accessible, and by addressing audit findings related to documented procedures.

Salary: USD 112,000 - 149,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5–8 years of experience in technical writing, documentation management, or process documentation, including at least 2 years supporting QMS in aerospace, defense, or another highly regulated industry.
  • •Working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, or comparable quality management standards and how they drive documentation needs like document control, traceability, and revision management.
  • •Ability to translate complex technical and regulatory content into clear, well-structured documents for diverse audiences.
  • •Experience with document control systems or electronic QMS tools (e.g., MasterControl, Veeva, SharePoint-based workflows).
  • •Must be a U.S. Person (as defined under ITAR) and eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
