Job Summary

Entry‑level SOC Analyst to monitor, triage, and escalate security events in a 24x7 Managed Security Operations Center. You will analyze alerts from SIEM/EDR/IDS-IPS, classify incidents, document investigations, and support handovers to Tier 2, helping protect customer environments and uphold SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide 24x7 security monitoring and event analysis for customer and enterprise environments, following shift-based operations.
•Review and assess security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and cloud security platforms to determine threat legitimacy or false positives.
•Perform initial event validation, classification, and prioritization based on severity and potential business impact.
•Identify suspicious behavior, indicators of compromise, and anomalous activities requiring further investigation.
•Escalate validated incidents to Tier 2 with complete investigation details and maintain incident tracking through the lifecycle.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or intermediate diploma from a recognised institution.
•At least 6 months of practical cybersecurity experience.
•At least one valid NCSC-approved SOC certification like CSA, GSOC, GCIA, CTIA, Blue Team Level 1, or Cisco CyberOps Associate or equivalent recognized by NCSC.
•Familiarity with SIEM consoles, alert triage, and SOC monitoring workflow; willingness to work rotating shifts.
•Foundational networking and operating-system knowledge is preferable.
