Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide ETF Capital Markets specialist support to sales teams, including participation in client meetings focused on trading and liquidity.
  • •Drive ETF value proposition via educational presentations, thought leadership, and strategic content tailored to client segments.
  • •Develop and maintain senior relationships with broker-dealer trading desks to position HSBC ETFs as a priority among sell-side desks.
  • •Manage primary market processes from order submission to settlement with locally based authorised participants, coordinating with ETF servicing agents to enhance processes.
  • •Represent the ETF Capital Markets team at conferences and internal committees, and provide capital markets intel, flows, and themes to internal teams; support product launches and new platform initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field; MBA and CFA qualification are a plus.
  • •Relevant working experience in asset management, capital markets, or financial services, with deep understanding of ETF structure and mechanics (creation & redemption).
  • •Exceptional credibility with the firm and customers, with a drive to engage and win.
  • •Exceptional communication and public speaking skills with strong customer service capabilities.
  • •Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented abilities; able to present complex investment concepts and synthesize trends.
