Key Responsibilities

  • •Support Division 1 corrosion personnel in establishing corrosion control priorities aligned to corporate philosophy.
  • •Facilitate consistent application of company corrosion control procedures across Division 1 natural gas pipeline and storage assets.
  • •Assist in the technical development and mentoring of operations-based corrosion control personnel via routine interactions and technical reviews.
  • •Develop, maintain, and train internal corrosion standards and procedures, including O&M, design, construction, operator qualification, and training materials.
  • •Provide subject-matter expertise for complex corrosion control problem-solving and review remedial action mitigation plans from inspections/surveys.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Engineering or Science with at least 5 years of in-depth corrosion control experience and working knowledge of natural gas pipeline field operations.
  • •Lead and influence others in implementing corrosion control programs.
  • •Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills to produce concise technical reports, specifications, and work instructions.
  • •Advanced analytical skills, including familiarity with root-cause analysis and making informed decisions on pipeline remediation/repair, coatings, budgets, and corrosion initiatives.
  • •Ability to manage multiple projects with strong planning/scheduling and to self-start without direct supervision.
