Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform advanced dry etch process development tasks including process window analysis, recipe optimization, and evaluating tool continuous improvement for 3D NAND.
  • •Troubleshoot process issues with cross-functional teams to improve yield and quality and own assigned improvement opportunities.
  • •Collaborate with Process Integration and process development areas (Wet Etch, CVD/Diffusion, Metals, Lithography, CMP) to develop and integrate solutions.
  • •Conduct root cause / failure mode analysis and work with vendors/suppliers to close hardware/process gaps.
  • •Support pilot-line execution and process transfer activities as required by program needs.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD (or Master’s) with ≥3 years, or Bachelor’s with ≥5 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
  • •Strong aptitude for technology development and experimental/data analysis in a dry etch / semiconductor context.
  • •Fundamentals in dry etch processing, including at least one of thermodynamics, transport phenomena, kinetics, or plasma physics.
  • •DOE, statistics/SPC, and comfort using analysis tools for process development.
  • •Evidence of structured problem-solving, independent work with minimal direction, and clear written/verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration.
