Job Summary

Safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle to deliver building materials to commercial and residential job sites. Inspect equipment, load/unload materials, maintain required compliance records, and report accidents involving driver or company equipment. Prioritize personal and public safety while delivering freight undamaged and providing world-class customer service. Work both independently and as part of a team in an outdoor, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Inspect truck/trailer for defects and operate safely in compliance with company policies and Federal/State regulations.
•Load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck, unload at job sites, and deliver to assigned areas as directed by customers.
•Maintain records required for State and Federal regulatory compliance.
•Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment.
•Provide excellent customer service with a professional attitude while prioritizing personal and surrounding safety.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED.
•Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with minimum Class B (Class A strongly preferred).
•Clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
•Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations and recordkeeping for compliance.
•Ability to lift heavy building materials (up to 80 lbs, and up to 100+ lbs for load/unload) and deliver in an outside environment.
