Lead the Foundation’s Public Safety & Resilience pillar by evaluating funding requests, conducting due diligence, and building relationships with nonprofits, first responder agencies, civic leaders, and internal stakeholders. Monitor funded programs, recommend whether to continue or evolve partnerships, and produce executive-ready reports, dashboards, and recommendations while driving employee engagement through community outreach and volunteerism.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and lead an enterprise-wide philanthropic strategy to strengthen community safety, preparedness, response, and resilience across Williams’ footprint.
•Direct charitable investments by assessing community needs, business priorities, and funding opportunities to maximize impact and align with corporate objectives.
•Evaluate funding requests and perform due diligence to ensure eligibility, compliance, strategic fit, and measurable outcomes.
•Build and manage relationships with nonprofits, first responder agencies, community organizations, civic leaders, and internal stakeholders to advance community investment opportunities.
•Prepare executive-ready recommendations and reporting materials, including monitoring funded programs and advising whether to continue, expand, evolve, or sunset investments.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Business, Marketing, Communications, CSR, Non-Profit Management, or related field; at least 10 years’ experience in a non-profit, marketing, foundation, or community relations role.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC skills.
•Knowledge of public safety, first responder organizations, emergency management, disaster relief, community resilience, and crisis stabilization systems.
•Experience designing and managing multi-year partnerships and place-based community investment portfolios.
•Strong writing and editing capabilities with thorough understanding of Associated Press (AP) writing style.
