Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the dentist’s chair-side assistant during dental procedures.
  • •Prepare and maintain dental instruments, treatment supplies, and equipment; sterilize reusable instruments and manage contaminated materials.
  • •Expose and develop dental radiographs and perform independent procedures as delegated and directed by the dentist per policy.
  • •Monitor patients during Nitrous Oxide sedation per hospital policies and procedures.
  • •Maintain accurate patient medical history and dental charting; provide oral hygiene instructions; book and coordinate patient follow-ups and diagnostic results.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualification: DDS/DMD/BDS or Diploma in Dental Assistant/Dental Nursing/Hygienist, or nursing degree with required duration.
  • •Minimum four (4) years of nursing care/dental experience.
  • •Valid license/registration to practice in home country and/or last employment country (where applicable).
  • •Minimum valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or other certification according to scope of practice.
  • •Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and ability to prioritize tasks to ensure effective area functioning.
