Key Responsibilities

  • •Support end-to-end monthly payroll processing by collecting and validating inputs (e.g., hires, terminations, absences, bonuses, benefits).
  • •Run verification checks and prepare data for an external payroll provider.
  • •Reconcile payroll outputs against HR system data and flag discrepancies (e.g., gross-to-net checks and bank/absence verifications).
  • •Use AI tools to automate repetitive checks and build reusable workflows, supported by training and mentoring.
  • •Maintain payroll documentation, support employee payroll queries, and assist audit/SOX compliance with accurate control files.

Key Requirements

  • •1+ year of experience in any corporate role environment.
  • •Strong attention to detail with comfort handling numbers and payroll deadlines.
  • •Willingness to learn and experiment with AI-assisted ways of working.
  • •Good written and spoken English at B2 level; additional European languages are a plus.
  • •Proficient in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and able to handle confidential employee data discreetly.
