Key Responsibilities

  • •Define global procurement strategy for Wet & Dry Goods and build roadmaps for each domain aligned to growth, supplier risk/duty of vigilance, sustainability/responsibility, and security of supply.
  • •Act as a strategic business partner to ExCom members and function heads, influencing enterprise-wide decisions affecting direct spend and operating efficiency.
  • •Initiate and prioritize initiatives to maximize benefit; monitor category budget and gross/net inflation to improve margin and cash.
  • •Own delivery of annual savings, cash, and value-creation targets; ensure procurement’s contribution to Group efficiency programmes.
  • •Manage and develop the Global Category Procurement team; sponsor the procurement technology roadmap and drive adoption of digital procurement solutions (Ivalua, analytics, AI-enabled capabilities).

  • •Advanced negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with in-depth understanding of purchasing tools, practices, and processes.
  • •Proven capabilities with digital and e-sourcing tools and advanced analytics, plus superior communication skills.
