Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute MRP by translating the approved production plan into material requirements in SAP, generating PRs and production orders using BOMs and planning parameters.
  • •Monitor material availability to ensure components and subassemblies are ready for scheduled production; identify shortages and coordinate mitigation with Procurement and suppliers.
  • •Manage exceptions including material shortages, delivery delays, and demand changes by leading daily reviews and proposing corrective actions.
  • •Maintain inventory and stock health by evaluating stock coverage, shelf-life, and obsolescence risks and tracking materials in transit/inspection/hold states.
  • •Coordinate material priorities with Production, Procurement, and Warehouse teams and ensure compliance through accurate documentation, traceability, and system updates for audits and KPI reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •2–4 years of experience in material planning, procurement, or production control in a manufacturing or engineering organization.
  • •Practical experience running MRP processes using SAP or a comparable ERP system.
  • •Familiarity with BOM structures, lead-time management, and supplier coordination.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
  • •Preferred certifications: APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent.
