Job Summary

Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of cloud systems and infrastructure in a multi-disciplinary team supporting Federal Government clients. Deliver cloud development activities, collaborate with development and operations stakeholders, and mentor engineers. Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code, automate processes and self-service capabilities, tune performance, and support Java applications on Linux. Deliver services on Microsoft Azure and use cloud-native tools to monitor and improve health and utilization.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of cloud systems and infrastructure, working with development and operations stakeholders.
•Deliver cloud development activities and interact with clients on site to meet complex solution requirements.
•Maintain and develop Infrastructure as Code, automating processes and building self-service capabilities.
•Support Java applications running on Linux and perform performance tuning and operational improvements.
•Mentor and coach engineers, escalate unresolved issues, and write reports, proposals, and maintain project documentation.

Key Requirements

•Demonstrated practical experience and understanding of cloud implementations in Microsoft Azure PROTECTED cloud environments.
•ElasticSearch experience.
•Scripting skills such as PowerShell.
•Troubleshooting Java applications in a Linux environment (or Java development experience).
•Experience creating and maintaining automated deployments, including Infrastructure as Code (preferably Ansible and ARM).

Education:Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
