Manage a portfolio of the most complex credits in the Middle Market Corporate Banking space for Retail Petroleum & Convenience Store, leading credit underwriting, monitoring, and portfolio management with deep client knowledge and cross-team collaboration to maintain credit quality and drive relationship growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage a portfolio of the most complex credits with minimal oversight and limited supervisory intervention.
•Exhibit expert knowledge of clients/credits in the portfolio when interacting with peers, Relationship Manager, team leader, and senior managers across departments.
•Analyze borrower performance using industry-specific metrics such as fuel volume trends, margin volatility, environmental liabilities, and site-level cash flow performance.
•Perform underwriting and risk administration with emphasis on adherence to credit policy, financial analysis/modeling, risk evaluation, and ongoing portfolio maintenance.
•Structure, underwriting, and documenting new business, renewals, and modifications as the credit expert within the first line of defense.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 173,000 - 218,000 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years of underwriting and portfolio management experience; prior experience in retail petroleum is preferred but not required.
•Strong technical understanding of reviewing appraisals and environmental reports.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills for updates and summaries with clients and internal partners.
•Bachelor’s degree is required.
•Attention to detail and ability to interact professionally with clients and internal partners.
