Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate on transportation planning and engineering projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting support for in-field and in-office technical tasks.
  • •Apply best practices to design and assess active transportation and multi-modal transportation, transit, and traffic projects.
  • •Develop project management and coordination experience to prepare for leadership opportunities.
  • •Work with a multi-disciplinary team including transportation/traffic engineers, planners, designers, and landscape architects.
  • •Prepare and oversee technical memos and reports, and engage with clients and communities through meetings and public consultations.

Key Requirements

  • •Undergraduate or graduate degree in Transportation Engineering and a P.Eng license.
  • •8+ years of experience in transportation engineering and planning, including transportation impact assessments, active transportation infrastructure design, and project management.
  • •Proficiency in transportation software and methods (e.g., Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS, Sidra, VISSIM, VISTRO, Aimsun).
  • •Experience in traffic operations and site analysis with the ability to deliver data-driven solutions.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting complex technical concepts, plus collaborative leadership skills for projects and client relationships.
