Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead day-to-day GSOC operations, including continuous monitoring, incident response, threat assessment, and crisis coordination across regional security teams and stakeholders.
  • •Oversee incident intake, real-time threat reporting, emergency communications, operational reporting, and executive dashboards; use metrics and data to identify trends and implement improvements.
  • •Govern procedures, training, exercises, and response protocols to maintain operational readiness and support major events and cross-functional initiatives.
  • •Serve as operational owner for key security technology platforms; drive workflow, automation, reporting, and user-experience improvements and manage platform performance.
  • •Lead GSOC personnel and contract operator readiness, staffing, training compliance, operator performance, onboarding, and corrective action processes while coordinating with vendors.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 2 years with a PhD.
  • •Experience leading or managing a security operations center, emergency communications center, global monitoring, protective intelligence, or similar 24/7 protective operations environment.
  • •Strong understanding of incident response, alarm monitoring, emergency communications, crisis support, employee safety, travel security, major event monitoring, and global risk reporting.
  • •Experience managing operators, contract personnel, vendors, platforms, systems, procedures, and quality assurance programs, including SOPs, training programs, and escalation protocols.
  • •Ability to assess fast-moving security issues and communicate clearly with operators, stakeholders, and leaders; familiarity with security operations technologies and platforms.
