Key Responsibilities

  • •Create new vendor profiles by gathering documentation (e.g., W-9, banking info, insurance certificates) and validating vendor details.
  • •Analyze W-9 information to determine if a vendor is 1099 recordable and perform verbal verifications for new vendors and data changes.
  • •Validate vendor records against internal policies and external databases (e.g., sanctions lists) and verify required documents in the 3rd-party system (Apex).
  • •Create and maintain vendor master records in ERP systems (e.g., APEX) and ensure correct classification such as payment terms, tax codes, and company codes.
  • •Perform due diligence for non-compliance (e.g., place vendors on hold), support audits, and maintain documentation and logs for compliance tracking.
