Key Responsibilities

  • •Support Principal Consultants and Associate Directors on technical, managerial, and financial matters for transport planning projects.
  • •Develop and lead pedestrian modelling work, including calibration, validation, and producing modelling outputs.
  • •Help prepare scope and fee estimates for new projects and ensure delivery to budget and KPIs.
  • •Mentor junior staff to enhance technical skills and professional development, including supervising workload.
  • •Provide client contact and liaison, and prepare reports and presentations for project teams and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Technically lead pedestrian modelling projects and be proficient in developing models, calibration, and validation.
  • •Experience producing reports and presentations to a high technical standard, including dealing with complex modelling issues.
  • •Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent working knowledge of MS Office tools.
  • •Experience delivering modelling projects covering needs of relevant transport users, plus familiarity with NR SCAG, TfL BP guidance and the Green Guide.
  • •Relevant BSc/MSc/BEng in Civil Engineering or Transport planning, with ability to supervise workload and support junior staff.
