Job Summary

Provide fund accounting and investor servicing support for hedge funds, private equity, and closed-end registered products. You’ll calculate net asset values, ensure fund accounting is completed in accordance with GAAP, maintain trade and valuation records, reconcile investor contributions and withdrawals, and prepare fund financial statements, audit, and tax schedules. Work as primary fund accountant across multiple relationships while collaborating on expense analysis and investor reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Calculate net asset values and disseminate financial and performance information to investment advisor and investors.
•Act as primary fund accountant across multiple relationships, ensuring fund accounting is completed in accordance with GAAP.
•Record trade information, income/expense activity, and apply valuation of securities in the portfolio accounting system.
•Reconcile investor contributions and withdrawals in the partnership accounting system.
•Prepare fund financial statements, audit, and tax schedules.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
•Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems with minimal guidance.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
•Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
