Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide Level 3 First Aid to employees, contractors, and visitors at the mine.
  • •Monitor, control, and record incoming and exiting visitors and enforce site security policies and procedures.
  • •Participate in workplace monitoring sampling as directed and support health and safety compliance, including assisting with a medical surveillance program.
  • •Facilitate drug and alcohol testing and present safety meeting topics sitewide.
  • •Serve on Mine Rescue/Emergency Response Teams; inspect fire extinguishers; assist incident investigations, reports, and tracking; maintain PPE and first-aid supplies and complete First Aid reports.

Key Requirements

  • •OFA Level III First Aid (or equivalent).
  • •High School Diploma (or equivalent).
  • •Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • •Basic knowledge of fire protection systems, fire extinguishers, and sprinkler systems.
  • •Strong computer skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, plus the ability to work shift work in varied environmental conditions.
