Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and refine investment theses across Aggregates, Cementitious, Roads, and Water, covering both ConTech and ClimateTech.
  • •Lead end-to-end investment execution as the primary owner of the deal process from sourcing and evaluation through diligence, structuring, negotiation, and closing.
  • •Work with portfolio companies to execute their plans and navigate scaling.
  • •Lead due diligence workstreams by directing analysis and coordinating internal experts, external advisors, and CRH operating companies to form investment recommendations.
  • •Own and prioritize the deal pipeline for one or more themes and design commercial pilots/partnerships that convert investment into deployment and route-to-market.

Key Requirements

  • •Approximately 5–8+ years in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, corporate venture capital (CVC), or venture capital, with demonstrated transaction ownership across M&A, Private Equity, VC, and/or consulting.
  • •Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring, with strong investment analysis and comparable-company benchmarking.
  • •Strong interest and knowledge of the built environment, water, sustainability, decarbonization, and how technology transforms the construction value chain.
  • •Ability to develop and refine investment theses across CRH Ventures focus themes spanning ConTech and ClimateTech.
  • •Ability to quarterback end-to-end investment processes, including sourcing, evaluation, diligence, structuring, negotiation, and closing.
