Key Responsibilities

•Own multi-quarter technical strategy for Payments across rails integrations, orchestration, routing, and funds-flow services supporting new products, geographies, and growth.
•Architect the core payments platform for high availability and low latency with cost efficiency, enforcing standards for financial correctness, failure handling, idempotency, reconciliation, and auditability.
•Lead end-to-end design and rollout of large cross-team initiatives such as new global rails, platform decompositions, and resiliency programs.
•Partner with FinHub, Payments Risk, Regulatory Platform, and Product to balance customer experience, risk controls, compliance, and unit economics.
•Drive reliability and efficiency improvements using observability signals to identify and resolve structural platform gaps, and represent Payments in executive forums while mentoring senior/staff engineers.

Salary: USD 253,895 - 298,700 annually

Key Requirements

•12+ years building and operating large-scale distributed systems in production, with deep money-movement architecture experience including PSPs and ISO 20022.
•Deep backend programming expertise (Go, Python, Java) and cloud-native architecture for highly available, high-performance financial systems.
•Ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives across multiple teams while anticipating scaling bottlenecks and driving systematic platform improvements.
•Experience with ledgering, reconciliation, or settlement systems at scale and strong financial acumen for precise accounting data and transactions.
•Ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, actionable solutions for engineering and executive audiences.
