Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble, fit, and mount sub-assemblies and fixed assemblies in motor control centers and related equipment.
  • •Determine assembly procedures, component configurations, mounting locations, and clearances using wiring diagrams, drawings, and manufacturing information sheets.
  • •Prepare requisitions, obtain materials from stock areas, and assemble and wire control devices, harnesses, and panels.
  • •Install and secure units and components (e.g., pan assemblies, meters, relays, fuses, transformers, bus work) using mounting/bolting.
  • •Inspect completed work, make adjustments for alignment/clearances, identify/label wires and components, and maintain associated records and piece counts.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • •Interpret and work from oral/written instructions, shop orders, drawings, inspection reports, and standard or near-standard wiring diagrams.
  • •Assemble, wire, and modify control devices, harnesses, panels, and standard assemblies using hand or power tools.
  • •Minimum of 3 months previous experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • •Ability to frequently lift/carry up to 35 pounds and work while standing/walking and reaching at or above shoulder level.
