Weigh and grade incoming scrap loads by operating inbound and outbound scales, directing customers to unloading areas, and computing ticket totals for payment. Support Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance, assist customers with accepted materials and pricing, and ensure accurate documentation for purchasing transactions. Test scales for accuracy, report equipment malfunctions, complete required DMV forms, and communicate scrap quality and acceptance procedures to customers and production teams.
