Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide oversight for 10,000+ active litigation placements across personal loans, student loans, and credit cards.
  • •Review network caseloads and optimize execution for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • •Assess individual cases by reviewing proposed pleadings, settlement arrangements, and ensuring required documentation is available.
  • •Act as a cross-functional liaison between the external litigation network and SoFi’s in-house counsel for matters that span both sides.
  • •Track performance using KPIs and portfolio reporting, and evaluate/improve the litigation engagement model, workflows, and operational enhancements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 99,200 - 124,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably managing a caseload of defaulted consumer loans at a fintech or large bank, or in a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • •Bachelor’s degree with ABA paralegal certification, or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies.
  • •Significant experience on a litigation case management platform (e.g., Legal Tracker or CounselLink) and/or relational databases used to manage litigation caseloads.
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
  • •Experience overseeing litigation caseloads and coordinating execution across attorney networks and case demands.
