Job Summary

Lead and shape the highways delivery portfolio across Scotland and Northern England, directing pursuit and delivery of major projects in the region. You will own business development, client relationships, and market positioning to win work, set up highways projects for success, and lead a multidisciplinary Highways team while aligning with national authorities, authorities and contractors to drive growth.

•Identify and prioritise regional business development activities and opportunities.
•Oversee pipeline management and ensure a strong, achievable backlog of opportunities in the region.
•Maintain and develop key client relationships and act as trusted advisor across key clients.
•Lead major pursuit proposals with national authorities and contractors, leveraging wider networks to win work.
•Set up projects for success and support delivery across newly won highways projects.

Key Requirements

•Track record of achieving and/or exceeding financial KPIs and driving business growth.
•Track record of winning work and exceeding business growth targets.
•Experience developing and maintaining client relationships and work backlog with new and existing clients.
•Experience with regional clients including Transport Scotland and National Highways, local authorities and construction contractors.
•Experience maximising existing contracts, winning new business, and optimising client account management.
