Job Summary

Provide specialized, 24/7 technical support for MongoDB customers by troubleshooting application and deployment issues across MongoDB Atlas, including Atlas Search and Vector Search. Advise customers on best practices and translate complex search and data-platform concepts into actionable guidance. Own end-to-end diagnostics, build troubleshooting methodologies and knowledge articles, review new features, and collaborate with product, engineering, and field teams to improve the platform.

•Advise strategic customers on strategies and documented practices for best use of the MongoDB data platform.
•Troubleshoot application and deployment problems using research, reproduction, and production diagnostics; analyze logs and servers.
•Develop troubleshooting methodologies and write knowledge articles for a self-serve support portal.
•Review and test new features before public release, creating internal and customer-facing enablement assets.
•Serve as technical subject-matter expert for assigned customers in Atlas Search and Vector Search; coach and mentor junior engineers.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of search expertise (Elasticsearch/ELK Stack, Lucene, Solr or similar).
•5+ years administering RDBMSs such as Oracle, Postgres, and MySQL (MongoDB experience preferred).
•Experience with database performance tuning and benchmarking.
•Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for end-to-end production issues.
•Solid fundamentals in Linux, Networking, and diagnostics; excellent English communication.
