Job Summary

Support planning, design, and delivery of municipal wastewater conveyance and pump station projects for Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. Apply technical expertise to gravity sewer systems, force mains, pump stations, condition assessments, rehabilitation, hydraulic modeling, and capital improvement planning. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory agencies, prepare calculations and technical documents, assist with scope/schedule/budget/quality, and contribute to proposals while mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform professional engineering and project delivery responsibilities for wastewater conveyance, force mains, pump stations, collection systems, and related infrastructure.
•Support planning, design, permitting, and construction support for municipal wastewater projects.
•Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical memoranda, studies, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents.
•Support hydraulic modeling, alternatives analyses, condition assessments, capacity evaluations, and capital improvement planning.
•Coordinate stakeholder activities and assist with scope, schedule, budget, and quality management for assigned tasks, while mentoring junior engineers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a focus in Water Resources (or closely related).
•5 to 7 years of relevant post education experience in water resources engineering.
•Professional Engineer (PE) License, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
•Working knowledge of gravity sewer systems, force mains, pump stations, and wastewater collection infrastructure.
•Experience with technical computations and calculations, plus project management for small to mid-level projects (hours/expenses).
